We are only taking 50% in bookings with the other 50% being kept back for people to join in on the day. With the local community already having had a chance to book in over the past few weeks we are now down to 23 spaces left to book in for. It’s worth mentioning that although it’s usually children who take part in these lessons it would be great to get the adults involved too! Before attending on the day we would appreciate it if you could have a quick glance over at the following points.

  1. Listen to instructor when they ask for attention
  2. Make sure proper footwear is worn (trainers)
  3. If skirts are worn then ensure leggings are underneath
  4. Helmet to be worn by everyone
  5. Pads are available, please arrive 5 minutes early to have time to get them on
  6. Respect the equipment being provided
  7. Wait for instruction and help to be given if required
  8. Don’t leave the area when session has started
  9. Remember to leave all equipment when session has finished
  10.  Have fun!

We’d just like to make a reference to point 5 in regards to wearing the safety pads. These do a great job at ensuring no bumps and cuts happen on knees and elbows if you happen to fall. It can however waste time if instructors have to pad the children up themselves therefore we strongly recommend coming 5 minutes earlier to grab a pack and kit them up yourselves. This will ensure more time is spent on a skateboard during the 30 minutes.

If you’d like to book a child or yourself in then please either send us an email on the contact page or send us a message on Facebook letting us know. Look forward to seeing you all!
