We had a one-hour lesson and, honestly, we all improved by about 10,000%—and that's no exaggeration! Jason's teaching... style is intuitive, thoughtful, and incredibly effective. By watching each of us skate and understanding where we were in our progression, he tailored the lesson perfectly, making it the most productive hour of skateboarding I've ever had. By the end of the session, every one of us was rolling down the slope into the bowl, something we'd been working towards for months but hadn't been able to find the confidence to do. I should also mention that we're all middle-aged, and Jason was patient, kind, honest, and endlessly encouraging throughout. He's genuinely a top bloke, and I couldn't recommend him more highly.read more

Jason put on a party for my sons 5th Birthday and I can not recommend him enough. Right from the outset, from my... initial contact, Jason was informative and very helpful! On the day the weather was against us but Jason still managed to put on an excellent party and got everyone skateboarding by the end of it, even the not so confident in the group! My two sons Cameron, 9 and Joshua, 6 loved the session. Both a little apprehensive to start but listened to the help... given and were soon doing the pancake flip and the caveman!! I'm very impressed, would love to see more sessions like this, happy to donate towards sessions over the holidays if it's a possibility?! Jason is great with the kids and really helps to build their confidence with positive feedback. Off the buy some protective pads now!read more

Pleased to announce that we have now gone live wit Pleased to announce that we have now gone live with Summer Holidays group sessions. This year we are at the Stukeley Meadows skate park in Huntingdon every Friday over the 6 weeks holidays and have managed to offer a way for our regular students and newcomers to get involved! If you’re child has never had a lesson before and is aged between 6-11 then they can book on for the 9am to 10am class. Each week an instructor will be on hand to help them with the core basics needed to ride a skateboard. If they attend multiple sessions then they will also have the chance to learn the next steps such as kick turning, carving and dropping in. And for those children that already have experience on a skateboard they can book on to our keep on Skatin classes that will be running from 10:15 to 11:15. There will be a variance in age and skill level but with multiple instructers on hand we will be able to split in to mini classes where needed to ensure every student benefits in the session. It’s £15 if you want to pay as you go, £50 if you want to book on for 4 of the 6 sessions (as you may be away on a holiday etc making it £12.50 a session) or £60 if you’d like your child to attend every week (which is £10 a session). Last Monday we took our the @roll.in.co quarter pi Last Monday we took our the @roll.in.co quarter pipe for the students in our Keep on Skatin’ classes to learn tricks on. The smaller size of it makes it much less scarier to try tricks on and as seen if you swipe to the end students are then often able to take the trick to the bigger ramps in the park. Shout out to Rose for making the Fakie 360 Rock N Roll!
Gavin is one of our students that is on our Keep o Gavin is one of our students that is on our Keep on Skatin classes, a weekly lessons where children get instruction to improve their skateboarding abilities with us after school at Brampton skate park. He’s been with us for a year and a half and is only 7 but has dramatically improved his ability over the last 6 months. Upgrading his skateboard recently has also helped him as he gets additional speed to make it up to the bigger ramps. Congratulations Gavin and keep up the great work 👏 #lgskeeponskatin

We have 5 classes running this term across Monday and Wednesday. There’s a few spaces left if any existing students want to join. There’s is certain criteria of skill level needed for each class. We hosted our Beginners Introduction to Skateboard We hosted our Beginners Introduction to Skateboarding course this morning over at Alconbury Weald skate park. A handful of youngsters got their first taste of being on a skateboard whilst they received instruction from our instructors and a few teen volunteers ❤️ it was a bit cold but was thankfully dry and we had a blast. We look forward to seeing these children carrying on with us after the Easter holidays 👌

This is a perfect chance for children to have a taster in to skateboarding. For just £15 they’ll get taught how to push and ride on a skateboard as well as having a go on some ramps. All equipment (skateboard, helmet and pads) can be borrowed if needed. Places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment!

If you’re child enjoyed it and wants to continue skateboarding then you can come chat with us 7 days a week inside of @scenicskateshop We’re really pleased with how it turned out and if any other grants come up that we’re eligible for we’ll be sure to apply to do more again. It’s time for our annual Happy Birthday to us po It’s time for our annual Happy Birthday to us post. It’s been 9 years now since LGS provided its first skateboard lesson and we are pleased to still be delivering lessons to plenty of children (and adults!) throughout the year. From the 50 kids that book on weekly for our after school clubs to the adult that books a lesson to get a few tips, we’re still out there at the local parks helping teach anyone that’s interested and willing to learn how to skateboard. Plus all the schools and clubs that book us, thanks to you all. For the future we do have big plans for Let’s Go Skate but things do take time. The demand for lessons is continuing to increase and we don’t see it slowing down. As we develop we will aim to provide the infrastructure needed to keep up with the growth of the sport and ensure we can get anyone keen booked in with us.
