Godmanchester got a new skate park built in August 2019 by Maverick for £168,000. This took a couple of years to make happen after getting positive feedback from residents that a new one was needed to replace the aging ramps. The infrastructure of the park is top quality with all of the transitions feeling really nice to ride on. There’s plenty of quarter pipes around to trick on as well as a bowl corner with hips to air in and out of. A steep flatbank to roll in allows for airs which is followed by the biggest quarter pipe in the park. For street riders there is a small blue ledge on the driveway to learn grinds/slides on and a big hubba to the side for advanced riders to enjoy. A tall rail is also featured in the middle of the park close to the landing for doing tricks over the pyramids attached to the driveway.
